Come explore what really happens to our trash! Learn how the landfill works, how recycling makes a difference, and the smart solutions helping keep our transfer station running longer.

• Limited to 30 people (including parents & students) Infants in arms do not count towards total
• Due to limited space, sign up ONLY if you are sure you can come
• Includes a presentation in the conference room & tour including some time on the observation deck
• Arrive at 12:45 - tour begins at 1:00pm
• Parents must accompany children at all times during the tour and are responsible for making sure kids are behaving respectfully

• Directions:

From Old Seward Highway:

• Turn onto E. 56th Ave. & proceed to the last gate on the right before Homer Drive
• Stay to the far-right near the flagpole
• Proceed to the second floor Observation Deck

From Homer Drive:

• Turn Right onto E. 56th Ave.
• Turn Left at the first gate entrance
• Stay to the far-right lane, park near the flagpole
• Proceed to the second floor Observation Deck
