Natalie Russell To All Instructors
My name is Natalie Russell and I'm so thrilled to begin this adventure with Eagle River Homeschool! I am proud to be an Army wife and mother of five fantastic children ages 18 down to 10. My teaching adventures began in Delta Junction, Alaska when they needed someone to step up to teach Elementary Music. I dove in and fell in love with teaching what I'm passionate about. I have taught Elementary Music for 4 years in public schools, one of which was with Anchorage School District. The year before we were transferred to Alabama, I taught Junior High Choir, High School Choir, and Elementary Music in Delta Junction. While teaching, I earned my Master's in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Humanities. My student teaching was with an award-winning Show Choir Director in Alabama.
My other passions include health and wellness, ballroom dancing, psychology, CrossFit, Zumba, running and Strength Training. I was a health coach for 4 years and did fitness instruction at a local studio for 3 years.
